The National Black Justice Coalition is sponsoring a three-day conference to address issues in the black LGBT community. Areas of exploration include HIV/AIDS awareness, homophobia in the church, and the political climate during this current presidential election.

In addition, the Gay and Lesbian Leadership Institute will host the first People of Color Candidate & Campaign Training program during the convention.

The conference takes place at the Renaissance Harborplace Hotel in Baltimore. For more information, visit the convention's website at NBJCoalition.org. (The Advocate)
