Many celebrities were taken aback when Nicki Minaj decided to align herself with President Donald Trump during his current administration.
The rapper has even said that she's his "biggest fan" and has supported his hateful rhetoric toward the LGBTQ+ community, especially trans youth.
It's worth noting that Minaj's allyship with President Trump goes against her previous support for the queer community as Trump has taken action to significantly reduce federal funding for HIV/AIDS prevention programs.
Thankfully, the Elton John AIDS Foundation is committed to their essential work as their annual Academy Awards Viewing Party raised nearly 11 million dollars to help fight stigma and offer more lifesaving medication to those in need.
