Harpo Productions announced Tuesday that Sarah Palin will be appearing on The Oprah Winfrey Show on Monday, November 16, reports the Los Angeles Times.

The former Alaska governor and failed Republican vice-presidential candidate will be promoting her new book, Going Rogue: An American Life.

Back in September 2008 Winfrey declared her interest in interviewing the polarizing politician, but not until after the election.

"I made the decision not to use my show as a platform for any of the candidates," Oprah said during the campaign, according to ABC News. "I agree that Sarah Palin would be a fantastic interview, and I would love to have her on after the campaign is over."

Palin's book will be released Tuesday, November 17.
