Jillian Michaels has been sued for a third time over her line of weight-loss pills. Kathy Hensley filed suit in Los Angeles County superior court against the Biggest Loser trainer, claiming the main ingredients of the Jillian Michael Maximum Strength Fat Burner combine to make a potentially toxic cocktail.
Michaels, who came out as bisexual earlier this year in an interview with Ladies' Home Journal, is named in the suit with Thin Care and Basic Research, the companies she partnered with for the diet pills. Walgreens, which carries the pills, is also named.
Hensley claims in her suit that one of the main ingredients in the pills -- citrus aurantium -- is "potentially lethal" and known to cause high blood pressure and serious cardiac problems in certain individuals.
When the first suit against Michaels was filed, reps for the fitness guru told TMZ the pills had been vetted by experts and "she's confident she'll prevail in court."
