Members of the antigay Westboro Church didn't make good on their promise to protest a performance of The Laramie Project in Jacksonville, Fla., on Saturday.
Dozens of students from the Douglas Anderson School of the Arts -- where the play about Matthew Shepard's murder was performed -- lined the perimeter of the school in anticipation of the Kansas-based hate church, reports The Jacksonville Journal.
Westboro was a no-show in Jacksonville four years ago, when they announced plans to protest the funeral of a local soldier killed in Afghanistan but never appeared.
