MSNBC television host Rachel Maddow has appeared on Real Time With Bill Maher and sounded off about Elton John's performance at Rush Limbaugh's wedding.
Maddow said she was "sort of against weddings" when Maher asked how much she would accept to play at Limbaugh's wedding. "Maybe he's going to take the money and do something really anti-Rush with it," Maddow said. "It all goes to his foundation supposedly."
Most recognize Limbaugh as an extremely conservative and antigay talk-radio host, and Elton John's decision to perform at Limbaugh's wedding generated backlash from the LGBT community. John received $1 million, it's been reported, for the controversial performance.
