Josh Brolin: Thank God for Babs 

Josh Brolin gives a revealing interview to Playboy this month, thanking Barbra Streisand for saving his father, insisting he'd never cheat on Diane Lane, and vowing to kiss the tabloid photographer who snapped pics of him kissing another woman last year.

On James Brolin and Barbra Streisand: "The fact that he got together with her and found this solace is such a coup and so wonderful. The guy was so frigging unhappy and lonely. She's always like, 'Come over. We'll have cake or cocktails or soup or ice cream.' I love her and I love what they've created together. I say thank God for her."

On pictures of him kissing actress Marley Shelton: "Marley is my wife's and my great friend. I'm an extremely affectionate guy ... Marley and I were out together, turned around and saw there were cameras. That's it. Next time I see that camera guy, I'm going to give some guy a good smack on the lips and then hopefully it will be 'Josh Brolin is gay' instead of that I'm f***ing around on my wife."

On his 2004 arrest for attacking Lane: "I feel I've gotten to a point where I can't explain it, defend it or compensate for it. I can't say, 'No, I'm actually a really good guy and that didn't happen.' Everybody knows what happened because it's all out there."
