Portia DeGeneres Makes it Official

The actress formerly known as Portia de Rossi -- and, before that, Amanda Lee Rogers -- has made it official and changed her name to Portia Lee James DeGeneres.

The request for a change of name was granted Thursday in L.A. County Superior Court. Portia and Ellen DeGeneres were married in 2008.

TMZ first reported the name change, noting that while Lee has always been Portia's middle name, the James seems to have been added.
