Jon Stewart hilariously skewers both mainstream and right-wing media reaction to the J. Crew ad showing the company's creative director admiring her young son's pink-polished toenails.
"You make it sound like it's a story about incest or cannabalism," Stewart says between clips of media comments in a Wednesday Daily Show segment titled "Toemageddon 2011: This Little Piggy Went to Hell."
After a clip of conservative commentator Dan Gainor characterizing the color as neon pink, Stewart says, "Thanks for saying the word 'neon' the way you say the word 'dildo'... you're all acting like this woman gave her son an 'I love c--k' tattoo."
Regarding another commentator saying the ad is a celebration of transgender children, Stewart responds, "We all know transgendered children should not be celebrated -- they should be shunned! Exile them."
Stewart later interviews faux experts on gender identity. Watch the show here.
