Italian conservatives are none too thrilled with a new animated video promoting the upcoming Europride Roma and featuring two gladiators locked in a romantic embrace.

Stefano Bolognini, a spokesman for Europride Roma, says right wing politicians have declared the ad unconstitutional. He says the ad was inspired by archeological graffito found many years ago in the Ludus Mugnus (the school of roman gladiators).

Great Britain now limits transgender people’s bathroom use

        A new statutory code of practice is now in effect across England, Scotland and Wales that says bathrooms, changing rooms and hospital wards designated for women or for men must exclude transgender men and women. Effective Wednesday, the code issued by the U.K.'s Equality and Human Rights Commission says use of those facilities must be based on a person’s birth sex, and not the gender with which they identify.         Last Saturday burned hot and beautiful in Berlin. I woke up late and joined hundreds of thousands of people marching through the city for Christopher Street Day, our biggest Pride event.
