New York City's popular Big Gay Ice Cream truck, which serves glossy variations of cold treats, is expanding its empire and launching a cookbook.
The truck's owner, Doug Quint, is working on a cookbook with his partner, Bryan Petroff -- it should be available in spring 2012, according to The Village Voice. The cookbook will offer recipes for sweet treats like sauces, toppings, and ice cream. More good news: The truck will make its first summer appearance Wednesday at the Lucky Rice night market in Brooklyn. Read more about the Big Gay Ice Cream truck here.
