A Fox News segment veered into chaos Thursday night when Camryn Kinsey, a former Trump administration staffer and far-right media personality, collapsed live on air—just moments after launching into a transphobic rant targeting the Biden-Harris administration and transgender Americans.

Kinsey, 24, was echoing one of President Donald Trump’s most aggressively anti-LGBTQ+ slogans—“Kamala is for they/them, Trump is for you”—a line lifted directly from a 2024 campaign ad that framed gender diversity as a threat to the nation. The slogan, along with a deluge of misleading campaign messaging, formed the backbone of Trump’s closing weeks’ reelection strategy, which aimed to scapegoat trans people.

Kinsey deployed those same talking points during her Fox News @ Night appearance. “They had a failed campaign. They had a failed presidency. They put her as the border czar—she never went to the border,” she said. “So this is about incompetency. It’s not about ideology, or it’s not about—” Her speech slurred. Her face froze. Moments later, she collapsed sideways out of her chair.

Visibly stunned and momentarily unsure how to proceed, Host Jonathan Hunt attempted to pivot: “Oh my goodness. We’re just going to get some help here for Camryn.” After stumbling through a few seconds of improvised commentary, he appeared to take direction from producers: “Actually, we’re going to go to a break right here. We’ll be right back.”

After the commercial break, Hunt told viewers that Kinsey was “up and moving” and was being evaluated by paramedics. Fox News later confirmed that she was treated and cleared at their Los Angeles bureau. Kinsey has not commented publicly, and the cause of her collapse has not been disclosed.

Online, reactions were swift and pointed.

“Lying restricts oxygen to the brain,” one user wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

“The irony of fainting while criticizing Biden’s health on live TV is not lost on anyone. Hope she’s okay, but maybe take a breather from the MAGA rhetoric,” added another.

“Y’all let me know when Biden crashes on camera,” someone else quipped.

During the 2024 election, President Joe Biden stepped aside to allow Vice President Kamala Harris to run after Democrats lost confidence in his ability to stand for reelection following a debate on CNN in which he appeared frail and at times confused.

Kinsey, who briefly worked in the Trump White House personnel office and later became a reporter for One America News Network, has repeatedly used her platform to attack transgender people. In May 2024, she reposted a tweet from a far-right conspiracy account celebrating Peru’s decision to classify trans people as “mentally ill,” commenting only: “Based.”
