Alaska, winner of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars season 2, produced the first ever "Drag Queen of the Year" -- an inclusive live event that took place at The Montalban Theatre in Los Angeles Sunday, May 26.

The winner of "Drag Queen of the Year" -- Abhora -- received a crown, a sash, a bouquet of very nice flowers, a supply of Sugarpill cosmetics and the prestigious title. Oh, and a cash prize of $10,000 (via PayPal).

Hosted by Jackie Beat, celebrity guest judges for the evening included Sharon Needles, Jiggly Caliente, Peppermint, Gia Gunn, Nicole Byer, Landon Cider, and Willam.

"We made herstory," Alaska said in a statement. "I had no idea the level of talent and stunningness that would be brought to the Montalban Theatre in Hollywood. I'm so proud of the winner Abhora, and I'm so excited for the exposure this event will give all eight contestants."

First runner up was Aurora Sexton, and second runner up was Kat Sass. The other contestants were Astrud Aurelia, Calypso Jete, Gigi Monroe, Lyle, and Sabbyiana.

Proceeds generated from raffle and auction items were donated to the Los Angeles LGBT Center, a community center who has cared for, championed and celebrated LGBT individuals and families since 1969. Nearly $7,000 was raised by the end of the evening.

The photography for the event is also full of stunningness. Safi Alia Shabaik's instinct to shoot the show in black and whaite was a brilliant and psychologically disturbing choice. Just like we like. See more at her site: flashbulbfloozy.com
