And 'perfect makes perfect,' explains Ruby Gorry of Dublin.

A 5-year-old Irish girl has come out in support of marriage equality in the cutest way possible -- just in time for St. Patrick's Day (and her home nation's vote on the freedom to marry).

In a video uploaded to YouTube by her mom, Ruby Gorry says that she is going to hold up a piece of cardboard and write on it with marker, "Two boys can get married. Two girls can get married. Love is love."

When her mom asks her what she makes of Ireland's upcoming vote on marriage equality, she says, "I think that is actually fine. I wonder why people don't think that? People just think that a boy and a girl can get married, but two girls can get married and two boys can get married, and smooch... Love is love, and perfect makes perfect!"

With good reason, Gorry's mother told The Irish Examiner,"I'm so proud. It's something she feels strongly about."

Irish citizens will vote on whether to extend the freedom to marry to same-sex couples May 22.
