A four-day festival of rich experiences, education, and more than a few parties makes DC Black Pride a proactive and thoroughly engaging yearly event.

Since 1991, DC Black Pride has been held annually during Memorial Day Weekend in our nation's capital — Washington, D.C. DCBP has been the inspiration for numerous annual black LGBT pride events in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Brazil, Africa, and the Caribbean since its founding in 1991.
