The streets were packed with hundreds of thousands from all over the globe.
The streets were packed with hundreds of thousands from all over the globe — the largest LGBT march ever assembled — to support gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and intersex rights around the globe, reported dw.com.
WorldPride Madrid hosted free open air concerts, 7 different performing stages, parties, art, culture, sport... and all of them in the gay neighborhood Chueca at the very center of the city.
WorldPride, organized by InterPride, is an event that promotes lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender issues on an international level through parades, festivals, and other cultural activities. Founded by Paul Stenson. The inaugural WorldPride was held in Rome in 2000. The next WorldPride is scheduled for 2019 in New York City.
Better start getting ready.
