About a quarter-million people are estimated to have attended the 45th Annual San Diego Pride Festival, a three-day celebration of the city's LGBT community. The Pride Festival is an important economic driver for the city, San Diego Mayor Kevin Faulconer said in a news conference Thursday, according to NBCSanDiego.com.
