Miley Cyrus and the female writers of The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon delivered thank yous and tears to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on a special rendition of the show's comical segment, "Thank You Notes." From offering ice cream and break up promises to thanking Clinton for inspiring them to run into the woods to escape from reality, the notes were heartfelt and witty.
But emotions ran high when pop star Miley sat at Fallon's desk, her voice quaking as she thanked Clinton for being a "role model and inspiration and a voice of inspiration in uncertain times." She finished up by asking for a hug.
Clinton wrapped things up with a hip thank you of her own.
"Thank you, Miley, the Tonight Show writers and all of the women and young girls out there," Clinton announced. "You are smart, strong and deserving of every opportunity. Together we've made our voices heard, we've done great things and we've come a long way. But as Miley would say, 'We can't stop. And we won't stop.'"
