Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's dream of being a guest judge on RuPaul's Drag Race has finally come true.

The Democratic member of the House of Representatives is listed among the guest judges of season 12. The politician is a die-hard Drag Race fan. She has made headlines for appearing at drag shows and has even quoted contestants on social media regarding political issues.

AOC is not the only personage from the political world to have made an appearance on Drag Race. Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi stopped by the show's workroom in 2018 to encourage viewers to vote. Since 2020 is also an election year, Ocasio-Cortez may encourage those watching to do the same.

Other luminaries on the list of guest judges released Thursday by VH1 include Nicki Minaj, Whoopi Goldberg, Chaka Khan, Robyn, Leslie Jones, Normani, Jeff Goldblum, Daisy Ridley, Thandie Newton, Olivia Munn, Rachel Bloom, Daniel Franzese, Jonathan Bennett, and Winnie Harlow.

The recurring judges of the reality drag competition remain Michelle Visage, Carson Kressley, Ross Mathews, and of course, RuPaul, who also continues to serve as host and mentor to the queens. A list of this season's contestants was released earlier this month.

RuPaul's Drag Race returns February 28 at 8 p.m. Eastern and Pacific on VH1. This season, the premiere will be split into two parts, with the second airing the following Friday.

In addition to announcing the season's guest judges, VH1 also released a new trailer. Watch it below.
