World Pride, London, 2012
Financial woes may have affected the size and spectacle of this year's World Pride in London, but the spirit was still rich. There were no vehicles or floats, and the event ended earlier than usual, but there were still around 25,000 people who took part in the march according to organizers. This year celebrates the 40th anniversary of Britain’s first Gay Pride parade in July 1972, organized by Peter Tatchell.
