About 1-2 years ago the Advocate trolls (different names, same troll) tried to convince us to vote Republican because blah blah blah. Now, the haters who fund our trolls are not stupid, unless you count bigotry as a form of stupidity, though of course they are liars and hypocrites (Christian ethics? hah! all's fair in this culture war, suckers), did finally realize that selling the idea - that lgbt would do better with the Pubs than the Dems - was simply too far beyond the pale for the target audience to believe. So that's how the new line of b.s. was conceived. And, that's why trolls with many different names, post these many variations on the same theme, like a chorus of lgbt singing in harmony "Oh the Pubs are no better than the De-ems, but the Dems are no better than them." --- Kids, this new troll song is provided, free of charge, courtesy of the anti-gay bigots who hate our queer guts!

John M, are you going to just regurgitate talking points from another website and spew them at us to to try and make yourself (and Obama) look impressive. My original claim is that Obama as president the gay community IS NOT better off or worst OFF than other times. All this republican vs democrat bs is getting mundane. I am sick of tired of being lectured so pathetically on how this "president" is so wonderful. All those things you mentioned is to make him look good, to keep you at bay and to appease you while at the same time doing nothing about it, showing no leadership, and being uncommitted. I don't know what is worst, having a fruity homophobe in the white house or someone who just SAYS he is on the pro-gay side just so he can get a free ride. In my own opinion they are both just as wrong.

This is nice of him to do that. He might not be perfect but he is a whole universe of difference between him and Bush. I'm def voting for him in 2012 because Repubs are just getting really scary.
