U.S. Queer as Folk coming to video

Showtime will release Queer as Folk--Season One on video on January 8, according to The Hollywood Reporter. All 22 episodes of the groundbreaking gay-themed series' first season will be available in a six-disc DVD boxed set featuring nearly three hours of extras or on a five-tape VHS set. Extras will include character bios, extended scenes, an introduction by actor Hal Sparks, outtakes, a photo gallery, and commentary on three of the episodes by producers and cast members.
