Stanley Kwan to be honored at GLBT film festival

Variety reports that director Stanley Kwan will receive the first Prism Award for his contributions to gay and lesbian culture at the 12th Hong Kong Lesbian and Gay Film Festival. Kwan, whose film Lan Yu was nominated for 11 Hong Kong Film Awards, will be honored on Thursday at the 18-day festival's opening-night celebration.
