Plans Gay Surrogacy Story Line

Producers of the popular TV series are planning the first “gay dad” story line for a British soap.

According to the Daily Mirror, characters Christian Clarke and Syed Masood will ask Glenda Mitchell, a mother of three, to carry their baby.

“An EastEnders source said, ‘Christian and Syed having a baby together will be the biggest storyline on the soap this year, and one of the most controversial in the programme's history,’” the Mirror reported.

Producers expect a ratings hit.
