Carrie Fisher "Can Turn Men Gay"

Actress Carrie Fisher jokes that she has a superpower that can turn men gay, according to entertainment website Monsters and Critics. Fisher, who famously played Princess Leia in the first three Star Wars films, appeared on an Australian talk show to celebrate her 54th birthday and during the conversation shared that she has a superpower. "It's not called upon very often, but yes, I can turn men gay," she said.

"I actually turned one of my exes gay. Apparently, I turned him gay by taking codeine," she said. "I told him I never read that warning on the label. I thought it said something about 'heavy machinery,' not 'homosexuality.'"

Fisher, whose show Wishful Drinking was filmed for broadcast on HBO in December, was referring to talent agent Bryan Lourd, her ex-husband who eventually left her for a man.
