I believe sometimes a journey to a destination can be made only by a step at a time. In this case, it could be that LGB protections may necessary before LGBT protections can be realized.
Why is the Advocate suggesting that such a thing is even being considered? LGBT leaders in both the House and Senate have assured us that no such idea would be considered. The main objections to the bill have nothing to do with gender identity, but are focused on concerns about protecting pedophiles and other sexual deviants, and religious freedom. What is with this poll? Do you think this is up for a vote?
Nice of you to decide that you can vote on whether you'll support my rights. 'Course, I'd expect no less from a rag that seems more interested in gay fashion than anything substantial, like, say, HIV/AIDS or our community's overwhelming lack of health care. Way to go, Advocate!
