The Space Between Us works as a photo-journalistic record of encounters the photographer has had. Nudity, for most of us, has no more shock. But immediacy and spontaneity can still compel the eye. Each of the photos in this book creates a story and raises questions.
Ohm Phanphiroj is a celebrated international award-winning photographer, filmmaker, and educator. A Bangkok-born U.S. citizen, Ohm splits his time between Atlanta, New York City, Bangkok, Germany, and Jamaica. His recent works deal with controversial issues, including male prostitutes, sexuality, gender roles, and the male nude.
