Sunday night was the premiere of Feud: Bette and Joan, a gift from the gay gods (including Ryan Murphy). Television network FX was smart enough to know the audience for this series — focusing on the decades-long rivalry between screen legends Bette Davis and Joan Crawford — and they threw a drag party on Friday in West Hollywood to drum up publicity. The live-concert event included performances by Bianca Del Rio, Peaches Christ, Niki Harris, Jake Simpson, Kay-Ta Matsuno's 10-piece band, and Baby Jane Drag. Of course, there were recreations of Whatever Happened to Baby Jane? — the only film that Davis and Crawford co-starred in together — and a performance of the '80s Kim Carnes hit "Bette Davis Eyes."
