Outfest announces awards

Outfest 2001: The Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Film Festival announced that the winner of the Achievement Award is producer Christine Vachon (Hedwig and the Angry Inch), the Festival Centerpiece will be the documentary Southern Comfort, and the Award Night film selection will be Gaudi Afternoon.
