Out actor Sir Ian McKellen will star opposite Deborah Kara Unger (Crash, Signs and Wonders) in Emile, a new film from writer-director Carl Bessai (Lola), according to The Hollywood Reporter. The movie tells the story of a young woman's reconciliation with her aging uncle (McKellen), whose brother stole her mother from him years earlier.
