       BBC News reports that out Pop Idol winner Will Young will perform in the annual Royal Variety Performance for Prince Charles. The show, which has been put on since 1912 and attracts some of show business's biggest names, will be aired on BBC One on December 15. Also participating this year are Kylie Minogue, Gareth Gates, Natalie Cole, Diana Krall, Elaine Stritch, and the casts of the London musicals Bombay Dreams and Our House.
