The Library of Congress has selected another 25 films to be entered into the National Film Registry, and the new additions include a silent version of Oscar Wilde's Lady Windermere's Fan, bisexual filmmaker Vincente Minnelli's acclaimed The Bad and the Beautiful, and the Oscar-nominated animated feature Beauty and the Beast, featuring lyrics by the late Howard Ashman. The Library of Congress works to ensure that films included in the registry are preserved for all times.
