       Out filmmaker Adam Shankman (Bringing Down the House) is negotiating to direct a live-action version of the popular 1960s cartoon The Jetsons for Warner Bros., according to The Hollywood Reporter. Shankman is expected to work with another writer on a new draft of the script. The animated series related the comedic domestic adventures of Spacely Sprockets employee George Jetson; Jane, his wife; and their children, Judy and Elroy.
