Rupert Everett, along with Tom Wilkinson, Ben Chaplin, and Richard Griffiths, has joined the cast of the film Compleat Female Stage Beauty, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The film stars Billy Crudup and Claire Danes and tells the true story of cross-dressing 17th-century British actor Edward Kynaston. The film, which is currently in production, will be directed by Richard Eyre (Iris) from a script by Jeffrey Hatcher based on Hatcher's play.
