Variety reports that out Oscar-winning producers Dan Jinks and Bruce Cohen (American Beauty, Big Fish) will executive-produce the new Showtime series Hate. The pair replaces out producer David Janollari, who left the show to focus on his new position as entertainment president for the WB network. Advocate columnist Paris Barclay, who cowrote and directed, also executive produces the series pilot, which deals with the hate-crimes unit of the New York Police Department.
