A source tells MSNBC.com's Jeannette Walls that Oliver Stone's epic Alexander was pushed back from November 5 to November 24 because executives at Warner Bros. wanted to trim gay love scenes from the film. "Alexander [the Great] was almost certainly bisexual, and Oliver Stone wanted to portray that," the source tells Walls. "So there are scenes between Colin [Farrell, who plays Alexander] and women, but there's also some passionate scenes between Colin and Francisco Bosch." Bosch, in his debut role, plays Persian eunuch Bagoas, whom some historians believe was Alexander's lover. "Some of the suits at Warner Bros. think that the movie-going public just isn't ready to see that," continues the insider. "There's some pretty heated arguments going on over it." A spokesperson for the studio told Walls that she knew of no such controversy but declined to investigate, noting, "We wouldn't talk about anything involving the process of making a movie."
