Comedy Central books Reno 911! for third season
The hit Comedy Central series Reno 911! has been picked up for a third season, reports Variety. The show, which features a band of incompetent local sheriffs led by the equally incompetent and semi-openly gay Lt. Dangle, will air 13 new episodes in the summer of 2005. "In the first season, Reno 911! was the funniest show you've never seen," said Comedy Central vice president of development Jim Sharp. "Now people are talking about it and quoting characters. The show just keeps growing."
