Shankman to go Nutjobs for Disney

Out director Adam Shankman (Bringing Down the House, The Wedding Planner) has been attached as director of Nutjobs, a murder mystery for Disney, reports Variety. The script by Alan R. Cohen and Alan Freedland follows an OCD sufferer and a pathological liar as they attempt to prove that their therapist's apparent suicide was actually murder. Shankman will produce with his sister Jennifer Gibgot at their Disney-based production company Offspring Entertainment. Shankman is also putting together a remake of Topper; his new comedy The Pacifier opens Friday.
