       The gay TV
            network Here presents the debuts of two new films of gay
            interest on Friday, September 2. Third Man Out: A
                Donald Strachey Mystery stars Chad Allen as a gay
            gumshoe       investigating threats against an activist who
            outs prominent closeted       citizens. Also premiering
            Friday is Assassin,       the latest stand-up
            performance film from comedian Margaret Cho. In a
            historic move, Assassin will premiere on Here
            the same day that it opens in theaters in Los Angeles, New
            York City, San       Francisco, San Jose, Dallas,
            Philadelphia, and Palm Springs, Calif. Both       Third
                Man Out and Assassin will run on Here
            throughout the month of       September.

        Global pop star Demi Lovato will perform at the 37th annual GLAAD Media Awards on March 5 in Los Angeles, with actor and producer Jonathan Bennett returning to host a ceremony that will stream exclusively on Hulu later this month, GLAAD announced Monday. The event will spotlight LGBTQ+ representation across film, television, music, and journalism. The Advocate, along with its sister publication, Out, is among the nominees for Outstanding Magazine.
