Out lesbian
filmmaker Angela Robinson (Herbie: Fully Loaded,
D.E.B.S.) will produce and direct Witches for
Walt Disney Pictures, reports Variety. The film will
be a blend of live action and computer-generated
images and will tell the story of a young girl who
realizes that she is a descendant of witches; she must also
balance her legacy with a budding romance. The film is
being aimed at a Halloween 2006 release.
