It was announced Monday that Elton John will perform a duet with Dolly Parton at the 39th annual Country Music Association Awards, which will be broadcast on CBS on Tuesday, November 15. "I've always admired Sir Elton's songwriting, musicianship, and singing, and I'm thrilled to be working with him," Parton said in a statement. "It should be a very passionate performance." Parton's new album, Those Were the Days, features her performing anthems of the '60s and '70s, including John Lennon's "Imagine," which she will perform on the show with John accompanying her on piano.
