Two openly gay directors have been nominated for a Directors Guild of America award in the Dramatic Series, Night, category. Six Feet Under creator Alan Ball received his third nomination--he has won once--for "Everybody's Waiting," the series's acclaimed final episode. Paris Barclay, also a previous winner as well as being an Advocate columnist, earned a sixth nomination for the House episode titled "Three Stories." The winners will be announced at the 58th annual DGA Awards Dinner on January 28 in Los Angeles. (Advocate.com)
