Dead or Alive lead singer Pete Burns's boyfriend has spun him right around. The '80s pop star announced on British TV Thursday night that he's engaged to wed Michael Simpson in a civil partnership. On a Channel 4 talk show, the pair showed off gold skull-shaped engagement rings. Burns said, "Michael has never seen me as a photo, a video, or a song. He saw me as the person I am." Burns said he fell for Simpson the moment he met him in the restaurant where he worked. Simpson added, "We just naturally connected with each other."
