'Brokeback' nominated for two MTV Movie Awards

Just when you thought awards season had finally ended for Brokeback Mountain, along come two more nominations--at the 2006 MTV Movie Awards. The network announced nominations Monday for the awards, which will be broadcast June 8, and the gay Western romance received nods for Best Performance (Jake Gyllenhaal--no love for costar Heath Ledger) and Best Kiss (Gyllenhaal and Ledger).

Top nominees were Wedding Crashers and The 40 Year Old Virgin with five apiece. Fans can vote for their favorites at www.MTV.com.
