Queen Latifah will play an AIDS activist in the HBO film Life Support.
Actress and musician Queen Latifah has signed to play an AIDS activist in the upcoming HBO movie Life Support, which focuses on the impact of HIV on African-American communities, reports the Hollywood Reporter. The film, written and directed by Nelson George, is based on the real-life experiences of George's sister and her family. Shooting begins in June in New York City. (The Advocate)
