The Producers
Guild of America announced the nominees Wednesday for its
annual awards handout, with an Oscars-worthy list of films
leading the way. The Producers Guild Awards, which
recognize outstanding work in film and television,
will be doled out on January 20.

The guild
previously announced it is honoring Doug Wick and Lucy
Fisher, the production team behind Memoirs of a
Geisha and Jarhead; Jerry Bruckheimer,
whose TV credits include Without a Trace, The
Amazing Race, and CSI: Crime Scene
Investigation; veteran awards show producer Ken
Ehrlich; video game pioneer Will Wright; and
writer-producer Ron Meyer. Al Gore's environmental
documentary An Inconvenient Truth will also be cited.
