Lily Allen received four nominations for the 2007 Brit Awards, reports Billboard.com. Allen is nominated for British female solo and British breakthrough act. Her debut album, Alright, Still, is up for British album and her song "Smile" from that album is nominated for British single. This year, for the first time, the public will vote to determine who wins for British single.
Young talents Corinne Bailey Rae and James Morrison both earned three nominations. Snow Patrol, Arctic Monkeys, Gnarls Barkley, Scissor Sisters, and The Killers have also received nods.
