reunite in Poor house

Steel Magnolias alumnae Shirley MacLaine and Olympia Dukakis are in talks to star in the dark comedy Poor Things.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the story, based on true events, revolves around two female con artists who befriend and murder homeless men in order to collect their life insurance policies.

Shooting will begin in May. U.K. filmmaker Ash Baron Cohen, a cousin of Borat star Sacha Baron Cohen, has signed on to direct. (The Advocate)
