Logo announced
Monday that it is renewing Big Gay Sketch Show
for a second season, as well as developing a reality show
with former 'N Syncer Lance Bass.
Big Gay Sketch Show's second season will go
into production in fall 2007 for an early 2008 premiere. The
irreverent program, featuring LGBT and straight
comedians, is executive-produced by Rosie O'Donnell,
Joe Del Hierro, and Dan MacDonald. In the next season
the show plans to incorporate online participation so
viewers can influence sketches.
Bass, who came
out publicly last year, is working on a music reality
program with the Viacom-owned LGBT network.
Logo is also
involved with Queer as Folk actor Robert
Gant on a development project about a gay bionic man,
tentatively titled Gayonic Man. (The Advocate)
