Shannen Doherty and Robert Gant have wrapped production on Kiss Me Deadly: A Jacob Keane Assignment, Here network's first feature-length entry in its upcoming Jacob Keane spy thriller series. Former Beverly Hills, 90210 icon Doherty and Queer as Folk alum Gant tangle with international espionage in the film, which was shot in New Zealand in June, reports a Here press release.

Gant plays the titular hero, a photographer living a peaceful family life with his boyfriend and daughter when a young woman named Marta (Doherty) arrives and pulls him back into a world of high-stakes intrigue. Jacob and Marta must elude an enemy who threatens their previously quiet lives, the press release states.

Costars include out actor and upcoming Advocate cover man Ian Roberts (Superman Returns) as the villainous Frederick, and John Rhys-Davies (the Lord of the Rings series) as the heroic Yale. (The Advocate)
